This is a native Michigan Thomsonite from the UP of Michigan. Thomsonite occurs as gas bubbles in volcanic basalt rock. This is a polished specimen.
This thomsonite specimen has a distinct central eye with rays radiating outward from the center. Front and back sides are shown in photos.
